Music

We provide, through the Shropshire Music Service, opportunities for children to receive instrumental tuition.  Currently we have children learning the flute, clarinet, saxophone, violin, guitar and brass instruments.

At present 30% of children receive  instrumental teaching.  We particularly enjoy whole school singing sessions; a singing school is a happy one!

We participate in the local Live Arts Festival and hold concerts for parents and friends.  Recitals from visiting musicians form part of the school’s normal pattern.
