Community Lunches: The school maintains close links with the community and invites residents to (occasionally!) join us for a school meal, and to support the Cafe Preen. We have access to the village hall which provides a splendid facility for PE and drama lessons as well as an ideal setting for plays, concerts and other functions.
Church Preen Manor is a beautiful short walk away from the school and Mrs Trevor-Jones makes the children very welcome. We are able to take our friends from our link school in Hadley (Telford) to this stately home set in exquisite grounds when they visit us.
International Community
We are pleased to announce the beginning of a new international partnership with Sikhendu Primary School, Kimilili, Kenya. The children have already exchanged letters and a partnership agreement has been agreed and signed by both schools. This can be viewed here.
We look forward to a long and fruitful partnership which will include joint curriculum projects and reciprical visits.
Bardon Aggregates who quarried the limestone Wenlock Edge at Lea Quarry, is one of several local businesses who permit us to view and learn from their activities.
