At Church Preen we are very privileged to have our own catering facilities, preparing and cooking school meals every day. Here we give you details about the lunchtime meal service we provide through Telford & Wrekin and attached is the current menu which was introduced in April 2016 and is proving popular.
We also offer the option of a pre-ordered sandwich bar. Please click on the link to download the order form which must be returned by the Thursday of each week. The cost of this service is £2.30 per meal, free to those children entitled to UFSM and FSM.
We operate our lunchtime system with Class 1 children (Reception and Yr 1) entering the hall first, giving them time to sit and eat their meal at their own pace. Children from years 2 - 6 are invited into lunch on a rota system.
Children are encouraged to try things they may not have tried before but never forced, and we are always there to provide feedback if you have any concerns. At Church Preen we are activley promoting good social etiquette at lunch times.
